The Moby Car Wash Story
When I was a kid, my dad would take me to the local car wash on Saturday mornings. These were the days of the full service tunnel wash where customers would get out of their vehicle and walk down a glass hallway as their car traveled through the tunnel. I remember walking stride for stride next to our Cadillac (“Big Blue”) as she got her weekly bath. I was fascinated watching our driverless car move effortlessly through the tunnel as it went through the cleaning process. There was a feeling of happiness throughout the facility. Each customer donned a smile as they witnessed their car come out of the tunnel with that showroom shine. It was if the cars were smiling too. The entire experience was just a great vibe.
We created the Moby’s brand and car wash to create that same great vibe for each and every customer we serve today. I want our customers to have that same memorable experience each and every time they come to the wash. The soap, the water, the lights…It’s like a free show every time you pass through the tunnel.
